We are in over 150 countries and are visited by over a dozen million customers every day. It is hard to believe today that in 1930, when Harland Sanders founded the first KFC restaurant, he had only a unique recipe for chicken and a great belief that he would succeed. From the very beginning, he was also guided by one principle, which he was faithful to, and which he strictly observed: ”Engage in what you do to the maximum and do it as well as possible!”


Today, even though many years have passed since then, we still profess it. We believe that this is what is behind the success of KFC and thanks to it so many people choose our restaurants today - here they feel comfortable, trusting us and appreciating our efforts.

HERE IS OUR HISTORY

1890
Henryville, Indiana. On September 9, 1890, Harland Sanders comes to the world. Decades later, Colonel Sanders and his chickens will be known by the whole world.
1939
In 1939, the colonel decided to refine his recipe for delicious chicken. So he created a unique blend of 11 herbs and spices that we use today. We will not reveal this recipe to anyone!
1955
1955 was an extremely important year in the history of the brand. It was Kentucky Fried Chicken, or KFC in short, officially appeared.
1957
The Bucket - the most iconic element of the KFC brand. Timeless and filled with delicious chicken pieces, it was presented on the table as early as 1957!
1993
In Poland, the first restaurant appeared in the early 90's. This means that we have been with you for over 20 years!
1997
What would KFC be without a Twister? This unique sandwich was introduced to the restaurant in 1997. Until today, there are many delicious variations!
2009
In 2009, we opened a hundredth restaurant in Poland in Bielsko-Biała. The event was accompanied by a lot of attractions and... a big appetite for more!
2011
In 2011, the first restaurant opened in Warsaw with an open kitchen. Thanks to this, our guests can see how we prepare their favorite dish.
2014
Taking care of the convenience of our clients, we develop a home delivery service. In 2014, we launched the internet platform, introduced one nationwide number and significantly expanded the reach of orders.
2015
In 2015, we opened a two-hundredth restaurant in Poland. On this occasion, we gave our fans forty thousand buckets!
